CBTU Wins the J.S.Woodworth Award

At Awards Ceremony
On Tuesday, April 7, 2009, The CBTU Ontario Canada Chapter was presented with the J.S. Woodwarth Award by the NDP Caucus for its outstanding commitment to advancing the rights of minorities and immigrants, and eliminating racism. The presentation was made at the Legislative Building in Queen’s Park Toronto to Andrea McCormack, 1st Vice-President, who accepted on the CBTU’s behalf. Congratulations to all who made this possible!

CBTU Garage Sale

The CBTU will be hosting a garage sale on Saturday, August 15, 2009 from 10am to 3pm, on the front lawn of 25 Cecil Street, Toronto, ON. Items for sale include:
- small appliances
- books
- clothing/shoes
- household items

CBTU Annual Region 1 Conference

The CBTU Annual Region 1 Conference, “Our time. Our Future”, will be held from July 23 – 26, 2009 at the Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center Hotel, 2 Miss America Way, Atlantic City, New Jersey, U.S.A. On site registration costs for CBTU Members or guests are 205.00$.
